How to Join

ima.ke supports both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.

Best device to use

Easiest: Java Edition on PC, Mac, or Linux.

Also good: Bedrock Edition on Android, iPhone, iPad, or tablet.

Hardest: Bedrock Edition on Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch.

Java Edition

Use this if you play Minecraft on Windows, Mac, or Linux with Java Edition.

  1. Open Minecraft Java Edition.
  2. Click Multiplayer.
  3. Click Add Server.
  4. Server name: ima.ke
  5. Server address: ima.ke
  6. Click Done, then join the server.

Bedrock Edition on phone or tablet

Use this if you play on Android, iPhone, iPad, or a tablet.

  1. Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
  2. Tap Play.
  3. Go to the Servers tab.
  4. Scroll down and tap Add Server.
  5. Server name: ima.ke
  6. Server address: ima.ke
  7. Port: 19132
  8. Save it, then join.

Bedrock Edition on console

Try adding the server if your version allows it:

Address: ima.ke
Port: 19132

If your console does not show an Add Server button, ask Mike for help. Console joining may need an extra workaround.

Common problems

It says outdated client: update Minecraft if possible.

It cannot find the server: double-check the address is exactly ima.ke.

Bedrock cannot connect: make sure the port is 19132.

Java cannot connect: use only ima.ke; do not add a port.
